Engineer Network Terms
Plain English. These terms apply when a developer, engineer or builder joins the Neuron Pulse engineer network (“the network”). “SA”, “we” and “us” mean Neuron Pulse / SA Marketing Intelligence. “You” means the engineer. “Customer” means the person or business who asked for an engineer.
- Joining is free. Type your email, skills and availability. Add certifications and a portfolio if you have them.
- We reply to that inbox to prove you own it. We do not publish your name or email.
- You review anonymised briefs only. No contact details are swapped until a finder’s fee is paid.
- If you want the work, we ask the customer to approve. They pay a one-off finder’s fee. Then we introduce you.
- After that, you and the customer run the project. We are the finder only.
- We are not party to delivery, errors, delays or failed projects.
- You can leave at any time.
1. Joining and authenticating
Joining is free. You send us an email address, your skills, your availability, and optionally certifications and an https portfolio or GitHub link. We reply to that address so only someone who can open the inbox can join. We may also look at the portfolio and certifications you gave us. We can decline or remove an application if information is inaccurate or the inbox cannot be verified.
2. Your identity stays locked
Public pages show skills, depth, anonymised case studies, availability and nearest town only. Your name, email, phone, address and links are never published. They are shared with a customer only after that customer has paid the finder’s fee for an introduction with you.
3. How work reaches you
A customer describes a project. An architect plan is drawn. Matching members receive an anonymised brief (no name, email, phone or business). You can say no. If you want the work, we send an approval request to the customer. If they approve and pay the finder’s fee, we introduce you both. Until then you must not swap contact details or take the work off-platform.
3a. Connecting with other members
Connecting with other members is free. When a member asks to connect, we pass on their message and only share contact details if you both agree. Work you find together yourselves is yours.
4. The finder’s fee
Neuron Pulse’s only charge on network work is a one-off finder’s fee, quoted in writing to the customer before they pay. The customer pays it when they approve you taking the project. That fee is for the introduction only. We do not take a cut of your later invoices, and we do not collect project payments after the introduction.
5. After the introduction
Once we have introduced you, you and the customer manage scope, price, invoices, delivery and support yourselves. You are an independent contractor, not an employee of Neuron Pulse. You are responsible for your own tax, insurance and equipment.
6. No delivery liability
Neuron Pulse / SA Marketing Intelligence is a finder. We are not a party to the project contract. We are not responsible for, and have no liability for, errors, delays, failed projects, quality of work, refunds, or any dispute between you and the customer after the introduction. Those sit with you and the customer.
7. Confidentiality and data
Keep anonymised briefs and any later client information confidential. We use your details only to run the network, verify you, and make introductions after a finder’s fee is paid. We store a one-way hash of your email and IP to stop spam. We do not sell your data.
8. Leaving the network
You can leave at any time by emailing Contact@samarketingintelligence.com. We’ll remove your profile within 5 working days. Introductions already paid for still stand.
9. Changes and law
We’ll email you at least 30 days before changing these terms. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
